| Working principle： | The steel shells are conveyed on a serpentine track to the gluing sub-station; they are conveyed on a pair of 45° wheels, thus turning the shells up and down for vacuum cleaning. The sealer is applied to the mouth of the shell by means of an applicator head which incorporates all the necessary auxiliary systems including the feeding of the sealer, rotation of the shell during the application of the sealer and other auxiliary systems. A vision system is provided to check for broken or leaking glue on all sides of the shell opening using a high speed camera. After gluing the steel shells are transferred to the inlet mould station. |
